Faux Hawks, WTF??

This is the first of many (I hope) reoccurring posts entitled WTF?.

So I was eating lunch the other day and noticed a guy sporting a Faux Hawk. It got me thinking, when is the faux hawk fad going to end? We've all seen a plethora of celebrities rocking the faux hawk:But if you're going to rock a "hawk" of any kind why not go full bore like Glen Plake??:
Otherwise, I think the following cartoon perfectly explains my point:
You heard it here first, you will never see me rocking the "Faux Hawk". In fact, I don't plan on ever even owning a comb.
